Before you start
AI Image Upscaler doesn't cost tokens, and it's available on every plan, including Free.
Upscale an image
Select the image you want to upscale. It can come from your Uploads folder, Photos, or an AI Image Generation.
With the image selected, click Upscale under Tools in the right side panel. You can also find it in the contextual toolbar above the image.
The AI increases the image's size and resolution, up to a maximum of 4096 px on the longer side, and replaces it directly on your artboard.
Expected outcome
The upscaled image replaces the original on your artboard, and a copy is saved to Uploads, in a folder called AI Upscaled.
Common questions
Does this cost tokens?
No. AI Image Upscaler doesn't use tokens, and it's available on all plans.
Can I upscale a cropped image?
Yes. The upscaler works on exactly what's selected, so if you cropped the image first, only the cropped version gets upscaled.
Where do I find the upscaled version afterward?
It replaces the image on your artboard right away, and a copy lands in Uploads > AI Upscaled so you can reuse it elsewhere.
Why am I seeing "image is too large"?
The upscaler has a maximum resolution limit of 4096 px. If either dimension of your image is already above that, it's too large to upscale further.
