Manage your projects
Open, edit, duplicate, delete, rename, and browse projects from your profile overview or the editor's My Projects panel.
Create, open, rename, duplicate, organize, and switch between your projects from your Projects dashboard or right inside the editor.
Create a new project
You can start a new project from your Projects dashboard or from inside the editor.
Click Create in the Home Page's left toolbar. This works from any page on the Home Page. Or, if you're already on the Projects dashboard, click the + New tile at the start of your project grid instead. Either opens the editor with the Choose Artboard Size window, where you can pick a preset, organized under tabs like Popular, Social, Marketing, Business, and Print on Demand, or set up a custom size yourself: enter a width and height, choose your unit (px, in, or cm), set the DPI, pick an orientation, and add a margin if you want one. Click Create to open your new project with that artboard.
In the editor, click the menu icon in the top left corner, then click New Project.
Open your Projects dashboard
Every project you've saved lives in one place.
From the editor, click the menu icon in the top left corner.
Click My Projects.
You can also get there without opening the editor, from the Home Page, by clicking Projects in the left toolbar.
Open a project
On your Projects dashboard, find the project you want to work on.
Click anywhere on its tile to open it in the editor.
Rename a project
You can rename a project from inside the editor or from your Projects dashboard.
In the editor, click the project name field in the top right corner, next to Share and Export, and edit the text directly.
On your Projects dashboard, hover over a project tile, click the ••• menu in its top right corner, then click Rename.
Duplicate a project
You can duplicate a project from your dashboard or from inside the editor.
From your Projects dashboard, hover over a project tile, click the ••• menu in its top right corner, then click Duplicate.
From inside the editor, click the menu icon in the top left corner, then click Duplicate Project to copy the project you're currently working on.
Organize your projects into folders
Move a project into a folder from your Projects dashboard, or manage your folders directly from the Folders tab.
To move a project into a folder, hover over a project tile, click the ••• menu in its top right corner, click Move to Folder, then choose where it goes.
To create a folder, click Folders in the top navigation, then click the + New Folder tile at the start of the grid. It's created right away with a default name like "New Folder (1)."
To rename or delete a folder, hover over it, click the ••• menu in its top right corner, then click Rename or Delete. Deleting a folder also deletes everything inside it, so double-check before you confirm.
Sort and search your projects
Use the sort dropdown above your project tiles to switch between Recent, Created, and Name order. To find a specific project, use the Search Projects field in the top right of the same row.
Save, delete, and restore projects
Saving happens automatically as you work, and you can trigger a manual save at any time. See Save your projects for the full flow.
Deleted projects move to trash first, where you can restore them or remove them for good. See Delete and restore projects for the full flow.
Troubleshooting
I'm prompted to upgrade when I try to create a new project.
The Free plan has a limit of five projects, while paid plans have unlimited projects. If you've hit that limit, delete a project you no longer need, or upgrade your plan.
Common questions
What happens to the projects inside a folder if I delete it?
They're deleted along with the folder, not moved back to your Projects dashboard. Make sure you don't need them before you confirm.
Can I move multiple projects into a folder at once?
Yes. Select several project tiles using the checkbox in each one's corner, then choose Move to Folder from the toolbar that appears at the bottom of the screen.
