Failed and incomplete payments
Troubleshoot failed Kittl payments by checking card status, supported card types, funds, card details, online use, and India rules.
If your payment didn't go through, one of the common causes below is likely the reason. Work through the checklist and try again after each step.
Common causes and fixes
Card not active or expired
Make sure your card is activated and hasn't expired. If you're using a new card, activate it before attempting payment. If your card has expired, use your new card details instead.
Card type not supported
Check that your card is on our list of accepted card brands. If it's not, try a different payment method. See all supported payment methods.
Prepaid card
Prepaid cards are not supported. If you're trying to pay with a prepaid card, please use a different payment method. See all supported payment methods.
Insufficient funds
Check your account balance before retrying. Your card will be declined if there aren't enough funds to cover the payment.
Incorrect card details
Double-check your card number, expiration date, and security code. A single digit error will cause the payment to fail.
Card not enabled for online or international payments
Some cards are restricted for online or international transactions. Contact your bank to check if your card has any restrictions and ask them to enable these if needed.
India-issued card
The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has introduced additional security measures for recurring payments on India-issued cards. Contact your issuing bank for help completing the payment.
