Set up and apply your Brand
Store your logos, colors, and fonts as a Brand in Kittl, then apply them to any design with one click.
Brand is where you store your logos, colors, fonts, graphics, visual style, and tone of voice so you can design consistently across every project. Set it up once in Brand Studio, on your dashboard, then pull your brand assets into the editor, apply them to a design, or use them to generate on-brand content in AI Workflows.
What you can do with a Brand
Create: build a Brand from scratch, start from one of Kittl's preset templates, or import one automatically from a website URL.
Manage: edit, rename, or delete a Brand, and switch between multiple Brands from the brand selector on your dashboard.
Use everywhere: your Brand is the same wherever you design. Its colors and fonts show up in the editor's color picker and font panel, and its assets help generate on-brand results in AI Workflows.
Apply: swap all the colors and fonts on an artboard to match a Brand with a single click.
Create a Brand
From your dashboard, click the brand selector near the top-left, then click Add brand.
Click Create new to start from scratch instead of importing from a URL. (See "Import a Brand from a URL" below if you'd rather start there.)
If you clicked Create new, name your Brand and click Create Brand. If you picked a preset, review its logos, colors, and fonts in the preview, then click Add Brand to copy it into your own Brand.
Fill in your Brand's assets from the tabs across the top: Logos, Colors, Fonts, Graphics, and Visual style.
Add a logo
Click + Add under Logos and choose a file (PNG, JPEG, SVG, or WEBP). You can add more than one logo.
Add colors
Click + Add under Colors. In the Add palette window, name your palette and add its color swatches with the + button, then click Add palette.
To update a palette later, hover it and click Edit to rename it or add, remove, or change its color swatches, then click Save changes. Add as many palettes as you need, such as a primary and an accent palette.
Add fonts
Click + Add under Fonts, choose a font role such as Headline, then search or browse Kittl's font library and pick a typeface and style.
Add graphics
Click + Add under Graphics to upload any extra brand imagery.
Define your Visual style
Under Visual style, click Define style and add at least five reference images (or video) that capture the look you want, such as product photography or existing marketing shots. The more references you add, and the more consistent they are, the better your results. Kittl analyzes them and writes out your Setting, Art direction, and Rules & boundaries, the details it then uses to keep AI-generated images on-brand.
If you imported your Brand from a URL, Kittl can build your visual style from the images it already pulled from your site, so you don't have to upload them again. You can swap in new references and update your visual style at any time.
Expected outcome
Your new Brand appears in your brand selector with its logo, colors, fonts, graphics, and visual style ready to use across your dashboard, the editor, and AI Workflows. Once your visual style is set, the last step to reach 100% completion, a banner on your Brand page confirms it, with a shortcut straight into AI Workflows.
Import a Brand from a URL
Already have a website, Etsy shop, or landing page that represents your brand? Skip manual setup and let Kittl pull your identity straight from the page.
From your dashboard, click the brand selector and click Add brand.
Enter the link to your site, store, or brand page (works with Shopify, Etsy, WooCommerce, and most product stores).
Click Import.
Kittl scans the page and extracts your color palette, fonts, logo, graphics, and a visual style built from the images it finds.
Review the results and make any edits you'd like.
Manage your Brands
You can create multiple Brands and switch between them at any time from the brand selector on your dashboard, which is useful if you run more than one shop or design for several clients.
Switch: pick a different Brand from the brand selector to make it your active Brand.
Edit: open a Brand and update any of its assets.
Rename: give your Brand a new name.
Delete: remove a Brand you no longer need.
Use your Brand in the editor
Once a Brand is set up, its assets are available everywhere you design.
Open the color picker and click the Brand tab. If you have more than one Brand, pick which one from the dropdown, then choose a color.
Open the font panel and click the Brand tab. Pick your Brand if you have more than one.
Open Brand from the left panel to see that project's active Brand, along with its colors, fonts, and graphics, and drag a logo or graphic directly onto your canvas, the same way you'd drag in an uploaded file.
Use your Brand in AI Workflows
Once your visual style is set, click Try in AI Workflows in Brand Studio to open Start a workflow filtered to on-brand presets, workflows built to generate results that match your Brand's visual style.
Open any on-brand workflow and you'll find an Apply your brand step among its inputs, with a toggle that's on by default, and a dropdown beneath it showing your active Brand. Turn the toggle off if you want that generation to skip your Brand, or use the dropdown to switch to a different Brand. That input is the only difference from any other workflow, generating, reviewing, and using your results all work the same way.

Apply a Brand to your design
Apply Brand swaps the colors and fonts across an entire artboard to match your selected Brand, so you don't have to update each element by hand.
Select the artboard you want to update.
In the contextual toolbar, click the more menu.
Click Apply Brand.
Click the Brand you want to apply.
Add an image to a Brand from your canvas
Found a logo or graphic you like while designing? Save it straight to a Brand instead of rebuilding it later.
Select the artboard on your canvas.
In the contextual toolbar, click ••• menu.
Click Add to Brand.
Select which Brand you want to add it to, then choose whether to save it as a logo or a graphic.
Troubleshooting
I updated my Brand, but my old designs didn't change.
That's expected. Applying a Brand isn't a live link, so updating a Brand's colors or fonts later doesn't retroactively update designs you already applied it to. Reapply the Brand to bring a design up to date.
A font from my website didn't come through exactly right.
If Kittl doesn't have the exact font in its library, it matches the closest available alternative during import.
I don't see Visual style in the editor's Brand panel.
Visual style is only available from your dashboard for now. The editor's Brand panel covers your logos, colors, fonts, and graphics.
Common questions
Can I use a different Brand for different projects?
Yes. Open Brand from the editor's left panel, click the Brand name at the top, and pick a different one, or add a new one, for that project. Switching doesn't change designs you've already applied a Brand to, only new actions going forward.
Can I manage my Brand from the editor, or only from my dashboard?
Both. Your dashboard is the home for building and managing a Brand, but you can still open it from the editor's left panel to browse assets, apply a Brand to your artboard, or add something from your canvas to it.
Can I use Brand on mobile?
Yes, Brand is available on mobile.
