Delete and restore projects

Delete a project from its tile, find deleted projects in Trash, restore them, or permanently remove them from your account.

Delete a project you no longer need, whether it's one tile or several at once. Every deleted project goes to trash first, so you've got time to restore it or remove it for good.

Delete a project

  1. Hover over the project tile you want to delete.

  2. Click the ••• menu in its top right corner.

  3. Click Delete.

  4. In the confirmation window, click Delete again to confirm.

Expected outcome

The project disappears from your project overview and moves to trash.

Delete multiple projects at once

  1. Hover over a project tile and click the checkbox in its top left corner to select it. Repeat for each other project you want to delete.

  2. In the toolbar at the bottom of the screen, click the trash icon.

  3. Click Delete to confirm.

Find your deleted projects

On your Projects dashboard, click the trash icon next to the sort dropdown, above your project tiles. This opens your trash folder, where every deleted project is listed.

Restore a project

  1. In trash, hover over the project you want to bring back.

  2. Click Restore in the middle of the tile.

The project moves back to your project overview right away.

Permanently delete a project

  1. In trash, hover over the project tile.

  2. Click the trash icon in its top right corner.

  3. Click Confirm.

This action can't be undone, so make sure you don't need the project before you confirm.

Common questions

How long do deleted projects stay in trash?

You have 90 days from the day you delete a project to restore it from trash.

Can I undo a permanent delete?

No. Once you confirm a permanent delete from trash, the project is gone for good. Restore it first if there's any chance you'll want it back.

Can I delete more than one project at a time?

Yes. Select multiple tiles using the checkbox in each tile's corner, then delete them together from the toolbar that appears.
