Share your design
Share an editable project copy by link or email, or post your design to supported social media channels from the editor.
Send a copy of your design to someone, post it straight to social media, or publish it to the Kittl community as a template others can use. This is different from giving someone live access to your actual project, for that, see Collaborate in real time.
Open the Publish Project panel
Open the project you want to share.
Click Share in the top-right corner.
Click "Publish project" near the bottom of the panel.
This only opens the panel. Nothing is shared or published until you pick an option inside it, such as Publish.
Choose how to share
In the Publish Project panel, pick whichever fits what you're doing:
Click Publish to share a copy of your design to the Kittl community, where others can find, use, and remix it as a template. See Publish your design to the community for the full flow.
Click Facebook, Pinterest, X, WhatsApp, or Email to open that platform's own share dialog with your design already attached, ready to post.
Click Send Copy to copy a shareable project link to your clipboard. Share the link with anyone. Whoever opens it gets their own editable copy of your project, and your original stays exactly as it was. They'll need a Kittl account to open it.
Expected outcome
A social platform opens its own dialog with your design attached, ready for you to post. Send Copy puts a link on your clipboard that gives whoever opens it their own editable copy of your project, without touching your original, and that copy saves straight to their Projects dashboard. Common questions
What's the difference between sharing your design and real-time collaboration?
Sharing your design creates a one-off copy, a social post, or a public template. None of that gives someone live access to your actual project. For live viewing or editing together, use the Link or Invite tab in the Share project panel instead. See Collaborate in real time.
What if the person I send a copy to doesn't have a Kittl account?
They'll need to create one first. A Send Copy link only opens into an editable copy for someone signed in to a Kittl account.
