Use Creative Agent
Turn a rough idea into finished images and videos through one conversation with Creative Agent.
Creative Agent is your creative partner on the dashboard. Start with a rough idea, a product photo, or a short brief, and it helps you shape the concept, creates the images or videos, and refines them with you through one conversation. Use it when you know what you need, like a logo, an ad, or product photos, but don't want to figure out prompts, models, or tools yourself.
Before you start
Creative Agent is available on all plans, including Free. It uses tokens from your plan, and you're only charged for the work it does. Simple conversations, like answering its questions, use only a fraction of a token. Creative actions, like generating images or videos, use more.
Since Creative Agent decides how to handle each request as it goes, it can't show the cost of a full request ahead of time. To see how it works anytime, click Learn more under the message box.
What you can create
Creative Agent comes with built-in creative skills, so it approaches each job the way a specialist would. Ask for a logo and it works like a logo designer. Ask for an ad and it works like a creative director. You can use it for:
Logos and branding, including badges and brand marks
Ads and marketing graphics for social media and campaigns
Product photography, from clean studio shots to lifestyle scenes
Merch designs and clipart, like t-shirt graphics
Illustrations, posters, and wall art
Coloring book pages
Videos, including UGC-style clips, product listing videos, and short video ads
Start a conversation
Go to your dashboard and click AI Studio in the Home Page's left toolbar.
Click the Creative Agent tab.
Type what you want to create in the message box. A short, plain request is enough, for example, "Create an Instagram ad for my bag." You can also pick one of the quick starts to get going.
To work from a reference, like a product photo or a style you like, click the upload icon and add your images.
Click the send arrow.
Not sure where to start? Click one of the Quick-start a project tiles, like Product Shooting, Ad Creation, or Design a Logo. Creative Agent starts a chat with a ready-made brief and asks you for what it needs from there.
Answer Creative Agent's questions
Before it creates anything, Creative Agent often asks a few quick questions, like where you'll use the result, who it's for, or how many options you want. It may also ask you to upload a photo of your product.
Click an answer for each question, or click Other to type your own.
Can't decide? Click Surprise me and let Creative Agent choose.
Click Send to continue, or Skip to let Creative Agent go ahead without your answers.
While it works, you'll see what Creative Agent is doing, like "Thinking...", "Calling your brand...", or "Preparing your request...". Image and video placeholders show a countdown until your results are ready.
Refine your results
Keep the conversation going to improve what you've got. Creative Agent remembers everything in the current chat, including your earlier requests, uploads, and results, so you can build on a direction instead of starting over.
After each result, Creative Agent explains what it made and suggests next steps under What should we do next? Click a suggestion to send it, or type your own follow-up, like:
"Make it more premium."
"Try a warmer background."
"Keep this style but try a different layout."
When you want to change one specific part of an image, say exactly what should stay the same, for example, "Change only the headline, keep everything else." This helps Creative Agent keep the rest of the image intact.
Create on brand
If you've set up a Brand, Creative Agent can use your brand's colors, fonts, logos, tone of voice, and visual style in what it creates. You won't need to describe your brand in every message, and your results stay consistent.
In the message box, click the Apply Brand icon next to +. Your active brand appears in the message box.
To use a different brand, click the brand name in the upper-left corner of the page, then hover over Change to and pick one. You can also click Add brand to set up a new one.
To stop using your brand in a message, hover over the brand name in the message box and click the x.
Edit an image without leaving the chat
Hover over any image Creative Agent creates and click Edit. The image opens in a larger view with its prompt details and editing tools. From here you can:
Describe a change in the Edit image box, then click Generate.
Use a tool: Remove Background, Edit Area, Layerize Image, Vectorize, Upscale, or Add Text.
Hover over Generate or a tool to see how many tokens it uses. Use the undo and redo arrows below the image to step between versions.
When you close the Edit view, a message confirms your edited image is saved to AI Creations. Click View image to find it on your Projects page.
Download your results or open them in the editor
Hover over an image in the chat and click the download icon to save it to your device.
For more options, click Edit on the image first. Then:
Click Download, choose a Format and Size, and click Export.
Click Open in Editor to keep designing. Choose an existing project, or click Edit in New Project. The editor opens in a new tab with your image on the artboard.
Manage your chats
You can run several chats at once, for example, one per project or creative direction. They keep working in the background while you switch between them.
Start a new chat: click New Chat in the upper-left corner.
Go back to an earlier chat: click History, then click a chat. Creative Agent names each chat for you.
Archive a chat: in History, hover over a chat and click the archive icon, then click Archive to confirm. The chat is removed from your history, but nothing is deleted. The conversation and everything it generated are kept.
Rate your results
Click the thumbs up or thumbs down under any reply, or on any image when you hover over it. Your feedback helps improve Creative Agent over time. You can also click the heart on an image to like it.
Troubleshooting
I don't see the Creative Agent tab.
Creative Agent is rolling out gradually, so it may not be on your account yet. Check back soon.
An edit changed parts of the image I wanted to keep.
Be specific about what should stay the same. Try phrases like "change only the background" or "keep the product and text exactly as they are." For precise changes, click Edit on the image and use Edit Area to brush over just the part you want to change.
The text in my image is misspelled.
AI-generated text isn't always accurate. Ask Creative Agent to fix the exact wording, for example, "The headline should read 'Fresh Roast' exactly." For text that has to be perfect, click Edit, then Open in Editor, and add the text yourself.
My result doesn't match what I had in mind.
Tell Creative Agent what's off and what you'd like instead. More context helps, like your audience, where you'll use the design, or a reference image.
Video generation is taking a long time.
That's expected. Videos take longer to generate than images. You can start another chat while you wait.
Common questions
Do I need to write a detailed prompt?
No. Describe your idea in plain words. Creative Agent picks the right approach and tools, and asks for anything that's missing.
How many images can I upload?
You can upload up to 10 reference images.
Does Creative Agent remember my other chats?
Not yet. It remembers everything within the current chat, but each new chat starts fresh. To keep your brand consistent across chats, apply your Brand.
Can I use AI Workflows inside Creative Agent?
Not yet. To run a workflow, click the AI Workflows tab in AI Studio.
How is Creative Agent different from the Kittl MCP?
Creative Agent is designed especially for Kittl. It lives on your Kittl dashboard and brings the creative direction with it: it asks about your brief, picks the approach and tools, and suggests next steps. The MCP connector works by plugging your Kittl account into an assistant you already use, like Claude or ChatGPT, so you can generate images and videos, remove backgrounds, vectorize, run AI workflows, and check your token balance from that chat window.
Both use tokens from your Kittl plan when they create something. With the MCP connector, the conversation itself also counts toward your Claude or ChatGPT plan.
How is Creative Agent different from Chat or Agentic AI in the editor?
They're separate features.
Chat lives inside the editor and helps you generate and edit images while you design.
Agentic AI also lives inside the editor. Give it a short prompt or a full brief and it works out the steps and creates the images or videos for you on your canvas. Use it when you’re already in a project and want AI to handle a task for you.
Creative Agent lives on your dashboard and is built for bigger creative jobs, with built-in skills, brand support, and editing tools.
Can I sell what Creative Agent makes, and is it private to me?
On a paid plan, yes. You own the AI images you generate and can use them commercially, including on print-on-demand products and client work. On Free plans, AI images are for personal, non-commercial use. Either way, what you create stays private to your account unless you choose to publish it to the community. Full details are on our licensing page.
