Add links to text

Add, edit, or remove links on selected text and understand how linked text behaves in Kittl downloads and shared designs.

#Create a Link

1. Select text Highlight the characters within a textbox, or select the entire textbox.

2. Click the Link button When text is selected, the “Create link” button appears in the task bar.

3. Add your link Paste or type the URL, then press Enter or click the Confirm (✓) button to apply it. Only one link can be added per text selection.

#Edit or Remove a Link

To edit a link:

1. Highlight the linked text, or place the cursor within it.

2. Click the Edit (pencil) button to enter edit mode.

To remove a link:

1. Highlight the linked text, or place the cursor within it.

2. Click the Unlink button.

#How Links Work

• In the editor: Links can be opened directly, whether you’re the project owner or a collaborator. External links always open in a new tab.

• In exported PDFs: All active links remain clickable.
